This is the start of my birthday present for  rubber-dragon. Since he is now in the USA with his dad, I will upload one picture of my story featuring his character Rubby the blue latex dragon each day he is away.

How to get a Fennec Pet
Prologue

On Darya'konir'a'al people tell an old story of the creation of the universe.

Long time ago, the almighty creator built twelve animals.

There were three creatures born from mother earth, wearing fur and eating plants, and they were a bear, Kuma, the biggest of them all, a yak, Borkur, the first of the bovids, and an Okapi, Bahra, father of all animals that people use to ride or draw their chariots.

There were three creatures flying in the sky, wearing feathers and controlling the weather, and they were an eagle, Gizrah, king of the birds of the rocks, an owl, Irkah, the wise habitant of the forest, and a swan, Mikio, floating on the waters.

There were three creatures coming from the depths of the waters, wearing slick skin and curling around their enemies, and they were a fish, Ichkes, reigning over the rivers, a kraken, Ablai, reigning over the seas, and a snake, Pytor, who went to reside on land.

There were three creatures burning in eternal fire, wearing fur and eating flesh, and they were a cat, Mira, mother of all felines, a monkey, Kong, climbing in the tops of the trees, and a fox, Inari, father of the canides.

This story is about this fox. When the creator decided to make rules, personificated by the seven gods Love, Time, Emptiness, Life, Death, Spirit and Body, the twelve animals disliked those rules and betrayed the creator. They wanted to eat the gods, but the creator sent a thirteenth animal, the dragon, Darya, wearing hair of plants, feathers of wind, skin of water and scales of steel, breathing fire and poison, and she defeated the twelve animals so the creator could banish them to the night sky. From there, they are watching the people, waiting for their return to devour the world.

This all happened millions of years ago and people have long forgotten which stars are forming those zodiac animals. And they have forgotten the danger they encase.

Until now... when the fox, who bears the power of Motombweha Fanakma, of fire and steel, decided to let a descendant of the dragon who beat him long ago seal the fate of the world by giving him power over one little weak human, so weak that everyone will underestimate him so he can spread his curse.
This dragon is Rubby, a blue one, who always wanted to have... a Fennec Pet...
