Well... as an added gift dedicated ta m'son' fer his birthday present, an since I was feelin' a lil' culinarily creative, thought I'd present him (an the rest'a y'all with this lil' stir fry delight I made an named after'im...
So here it is.. the Silvermoon Steak & Shrimp stirfry!
ingredients:
1 grillin' steak
1 bag of collosal shrimp
1 small white onion
4 stalks of green onion
4 stalks of celery
4 bell peppers (1 green, red, orange & yellow)
1/2 cucumber
1/3 tomato
about 2 cups of left-over long grain/white rice mix
3 serving spoons of left-over sour cream
2 pawfuls of fiesta cheese blend
laurey's season salt
soy sauce
teriaki sa
parsley
directions:
had some left-over rice so heated that up in the microwave fer a couple mins. then set aside.
Take out the grillin' steak, rub with laurey's salt, slice inta thick strips then place them in a medium sauce pan ta cook, addin' in soy & teriaki sauce. Cook till browned then add the collossal shrimp and stir, reduce heat ta low/simmer an cover. (moniter progress then turn off heat an leave covered.
in large sauce pan shake out some soy & teri sauce, let this come to a bubble then added the sliced up peppers, onions, celery then cover, stirrin' occassionally then turn heat down low/simmer. when done add in the steak & shrimp then leave covered, heat off.
directions for cucumber 'sushi':
take cucumber and make 5 (or however many ya want) thick cuts. scoop/hollow out the centers.
in the sour cream container add diced up tomato, the fiesta blend cheese and stir, scoop/stuff this into the center of the cucumbers then top with a sprinklin' of laurey's season salt and parsley.
lay out a cresent moon shaped pattern on one side of the platter with the rice, cover with the steak & shrimp, add the cucumber 'sushi', garnish with some of the leafy ends of some of the celery and serve!
