Dude... they don't even get enough love outside of the furry art rings. Everyone always says, "Those mangey looking dogs with no hair? Ewww..."

I think so too, I haven't even seen a lot of love for them in the furry community (not that I've really been here long). I have a crestie, and I always get the strangest comments when we go for walks and a lot of them are very rude. I also conside Niko one of the cuter ones, he has similar markings to the one above, except they are brown instead of black.

The crestie that I took care of for a little bit was black and white with the more solid markings...Mostly just the socks and a blaze on his nose.

My mother had been camping one year, and her fiancee's daughter came running back into the camper saying, "Don't let the chihuahuas outside! There's a sick dog next door that has almost no hair!"
So my mom being the curis one peeks out the window and started saying, "If Chris was here she would probably smack you! That's a chinese crested you dork. They're supposed to look like that and it's not sick. It looks perfectly fine" For the record I still would have smacked her XD

Oh I love it! Chinese Crested are one of my favorite breeds glad to see others that appriciate them.

Ghost? Have you ever read any of Poppy Z. Brite's work? If not, I highly recommend it, you seem like the kind who could appreciate it. Anyway, she has a character named Ghost that this actually reminds me of.

AHHHH GOD How have I never stumbled across this before? I even frequently type CHINESE CRESTED in the search ahaha Ghost is adorable beyond reason, you capture the breed perfectly :D I'd love to commission you to draw my crested sometime ^_^
