I ordered custom buttons as take-aways at my senior exhibition. They have my name and Instagram name on the sides.
I'm so thrilled with how awesome they turned out I was considering, possibly, maybe, doing custom button commissions? Is this something people would be interested in doing?
I really love the way just the face turned out, so I would definitely offer those and allow people to pick whatever expression they want their character to have. I would also be willing to do one of specific areas, such as the rear region, chest region, or... groin region.... Pretty much any area of your character that you'd like on a button!
The ones I'm holding are 1.5", which is probably the smallest I'd be willing to go, but I can also do 2.25" and 3". I think I'd be willing to do full body pictures on the larger buttons but I feel the detail would get lost in the smaller ones.
I feel like I'm rambling. x.x
If this is something you think you'd be interested in then please let me know! If there's not a lot of interest then I wouldn't really want to invest the time and money into doing it.
I would probably charge around $5 for the small ones like these and then the price would vary from there if you want a larger one/more detailed picture.

I'm exhibiting my work in the gallery at the University I attend so I ordered a bunch of buttons for people to take with them. I figured it would be a good way for people to remember my stuff.
I'm a little swomped with a current commission so I'm not doing trades at this time. I might open up for them once I graduate though.

I'd def. be interested. I'm just concerned that it'd be too expensive though to get individual buttons from the exterior source? I assume you sent away for them, rather than making them yourself? I could have misunderstood, though. Either way, I may be interested in a set of emotions, if you're not sick of drawing me yet :B
The company I ordered them from was actually really cheap. I only spent around $45 for 150 buttons, and that's including shipping. Even though the buttons are cheap the shipping is not so ordering one button at a time wouldn't be worth it since the shipping is about the same whether you order one button or 100. So in order for me to not be losing money I'd have to do at least three or more buttons. So obviously if there's not enough interest in them then it wouldn't be worth it.
