Makes sense to me. I mean if you think about it the hair is simply longer fur on his head that he dyed purple. He would be able to shave 2 inches above the skin to get the clean shave but still have fur on the head.

oh, i didn't consider that. If it's dyed it's fine. I thought it was natural...purple? And he somehow had orange under that.

Oh ye that would definitely be confusing but considering a good portion of the characters body is orange it would just make sense if it was dyed. Though this is an assumption, seems like the best guess lol.

I may not have much money, but I'll happily shave my own head bald (yay for personal clippers for free haircuts essentially) in support of those people who do what they can to find ways to cure cancer.

Wow, this message brought me to another person who has found a better process of curing cancer. It's not complete, but it has a track record of over 20% from under 9% when using the chemo. Check out Dr. Burzynski and check out for yourself if you have the time. This guy uses Antineoplastons which are apparently present in healthy people who don't have cancer, but are not present in people with cancer. I'm currently looking more into this to find out more. So far this seems to unreal, and the fact that it's been 40 years since this treatment has been started, and has since had more success than chemo.
