quick note Nate and Tyrec are my two newest characters.
Tyrec is An Artic fox with a pretty unlucky history, you can see most of his limbs have been replaced with biotic Prosthetics. he lives in a future time. and has nothing to do with anyone else.
He's very outgoing, and sometimes acts just a little too tough, though you'd still not want to really mess with him. he's had no combat training of any kind and barely knows how to use a weapon but he's probably beat the !@#$ out of you in a fist fight. even if he took his arm off he's had the practice without it.
His best friend, Nate, is sort of a foil to him.
He works as a manager for a shipping company that pays him very well.
The prosthetics are a result of two seperate incidents however. first the simplest story is that while working in a space freight company a shipping crate fell from a crane. He was lucky to even react in time to jump to the side, or it would have crushed him on the spot. he wasn't lucky enough to clear the landing zone and the crate crushed his legs right at the knee and down.
His Friend from Hidh school, Nate, happened to be a Robotics expert and made the replacements for him with the compensation from the company, which also brings us to his arm
He was born with a Lame Left hand from the about the elbow down. doctors found this when he was a couple of months old that his motor skills with the hand were not developing, and he could in fact not even feel anything on it. Medicine was not good enough at the time to fix the problem because he arm just never developed enough to work on it. His parents had to make the disicion that the arm would be amputated instead of being a budden to him for his life.
so at the same time that Nate made the legs he also fashion the arm and made it part of the system, so he essentially got all three at the same time.
before that when he was younger, he become interested in sports though it became awkward for him to work out, missing and Arm. so using Physics he learn by wrapping Weight around the stub he could get the same effect as holding weights in his other hand.
After the accident the prosthetics didn't really change much for him though. a misconseption that annoys the hell out of him is that the robotic would improvehis strenght tremendously, But not enough of his limbs were replaced to give him that full benefit.
He still works out the rest off his body to keep in shape.
Prosthetics info:
The Prosthetics are made of a light Alloy design to be relatively that same wight as his Legs were
Only a basic chasis design to be function more than Fashionable. (They still don't hinder his dating XD )
(although possible, he nor nate could ever afford to make "real" prosthetics for him, those being robotic limns that would have looked, felt, and functioned as if they were really his)
The small display on his arm, give him info on time, weather conditions and of coarse his battery meters for the arm and legs.
The Prosthetics must be removed to charge, one charge last approximately 4 day. the red ring on the inside of his limbs is meant as a safety precausion, if not attached properly they will be visible. also turn off automatically if not attached
Tyrec can remove the limbs himself at anytime by just pulling on them and willing them to be off, this is also a safty precausion in case he may ever be trapped and the Prosthetics are the only thing holding him done..
Anyone else is required to have a simple key to remove them, if ever needed. Only Nate has a copy of it.
Other random facts
He finds the prosthetic annoying in the shower so he removes them to clean himself. ( they are Water proof )
Same in bed, he can't sleep with them on. ( also lets him stretch the battery life) Also he takes them off at home when he's just chilling alone.
he very proficient with walking on the stubs alone, but it looks really funny when he does.
he sleeps with a teddy bear when he's alone( His girl friends never see this as he hides it away). :D
he's had 9 girl friends 7 of which he left cuz they looked at him funny to much. the other two dumped Him.
He were's Jeans and Boots to cover at least the legs, but love to wear tight shirts to show off, but still be within Modesty will in the city.
