I've been trying to get good at it, yes. I've taken a college course on smithing a few times and I'd post some pictures of what I've done so far if I had a working camera.

I've seen his work and it's pretty awesome. There's another show called Big Giant Swords on Discovery Channel (I think) where they make massive swords. That one's more welding and fabrication than blacksmithing, but it's still pretty cool.
