"Stop him! He's spending money!" quickly became the catchphrase for perhaps my favorite Pathfinder character, Captain Emmerich von Ostgard; a.k.a. Captain Silvertail. He became the commander of a pirate fleet during the infernal invasion of Sleshult but he was also quite the sneaky little thief. He has a human form that he dons more often than not, his vulpine form being the last thing people see before he carves them up with his twin kukris. At the beginning of the campaign he had a bunch of demon binding chains embedded in his chest due to an accident and over time gained demonic powers. Despite this artist's rendition of him, oddly enough he casts no shadow.
I played this character in an ongoing game that went on for the greater part of a year. He was one of two characters to survive the entire game. Seriously, one of my favorite characters, so many amazing moments.
