I know that you mean and its a hard thing to keep people interested with every page to wait for but I do try my hardest to make them quick. I glad that you are just interested in reading a few pages and the story, I hope that when I get more pages out that a lot more people would enjoy the story in with I like to tell. ^^
I definitely hope you get more readers as well! I would think that as more pages are uploaded, more readers will come. :)
Not to be a grammar Nazi, but. *Puts on grammar Nazi hat.*
Do you proof read? Or do you have a proof reader? I noticed a couple of minor occurrences of grammatical errors. Such as; A couple of run on sentences, (missing comma,) and a misspelled word.
*Takes off grammar Nazi hat.*
I'm sorry for being rude, but this comic is looking to be absolutely incredible! I feel that such quality artwork should not be blighted by non-perfect grammar. :/

I do have a proof reader and it also depend on how you read the page(older pages would be subjected to grammar error), some characters have a certain accent too. Making a sound also plays a certain roll to try to put personality behind it and I know that I am not the best when its comes to correct grammar. If you talking about grammar like the use of "do not" to "don't" I don't think is that relevant but any mistakes that people see can easily be fixed and I depend on reader feedback to correct these minor mistake. Simple as that. ^^
NONO! that is really what I want to hear if there is a certain things that isn't right that I should fix. That is one of the reasons why I got a proof reader and I still rely on the readers to point out any other mistake that I don't know of mainly for text and grammar but I do know and spend some time with my proof reader to sort odd end but just like my grammar no one is perfect. ^^
Don't worry, no one has perfect grammar, least of all me. :)
I only have to look back a year or two and I'm instantly reminded how terrible I was, a lot of "lulz, yps, dnt," and so on... *Facepalm*
If you want, I could note you with commentary on what you might want to take a second look at. :)

The Shadows under the god tree of the dead, Meo'netzz'ahehm, are a grim place where the dark arts were practiced far longer than the scholars today are willing or able to admit. On Royal decree, no one goes there. But I keep having visions of someone coming out, someone who never wanted to be there to begin with...
I should start by saying, I was thinking of my own world, Aphka. In its beginning it was a water world. There was very little land the ocean covered more than 98% of the planet's surface. But life developed. Plant life grew to cover and intertwine creating land. To the present day, Aphka is almost entirely covered by plant life that has grown to become the land, utterly indistinguishable for normal geological land, which the god trees shaped and expanded.
The god trees themselves are some of the largest known planetary life forms in the universe and are known to have very active conscious minds, but they function of a scale of time, no animal life known can directly comprehend. Just as "God works in mysterious ways", the gods trees work in ways that defy the conscious notions of Aphkians.
That said the god trees are not gods. This is more an affectation of the understanding of their dominance over the land and sky. They shape life and how it lives in their midst, but have no supernatural powers, even though it is thought that it is possible to gain some limited rapport with them on a spiritual level.
The god tree of the dead, Meo'netzz'ahehm, like the other god trees does not actually control life, but influences it to do what they want. Those seemingly stuck in the shadows of the god tree of the dead, simply can not find the will to leave because of the tree's influence. They will eventually develop a culture that keep them there, and even abhors leaving, even if for good reason.
What causes or reasons to stay, other than the trees subtle influences, are these creatures' alone. Factors of blood and lineage are immaterial to the god trees.
