I've been continuing my guitar practice (though perhaps not as much as I really should) in between making tablatures of my existing songs, and after writing out "Save the Savior" I realized that almost uniquely, it was simple enough for me to conceivably play through it with the limited skill I'd gained over the last few months. It's probably to do with the way it's a slightly calmer, gentler song than usual for me. So completing the sort of spate I've had of this piece of music recently, here's the first ever of my songs rendered with me doing the guitar parts myself.
I'm still not incredibly happy with the tone (some of it is pretty ear-scratching at times), but there are a couple of sections that I quite like here - the instrumental section just after halfway through is probably the best part out of it. I'm still not able to produce top quality releases, but it's going up as a measure of progress, and for the purposes of any other guitarists to once again give any advice they may have on it, should they choose to!
This was recorded using Amplitube 2 Live, Tracktion 2, and a lot of mistakes. The non-guitar instruments are courtesy of the original Modplug version, and I've completely left off the "vocal"/flute parts.
Tab/entirely electronic version (rather a lot more listenable): http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1471044/

You're right there... it never sounds as severe when you're listening to it without looking for it, but I'm noticing it a lot more now that you've mentioned it! A matter of editing and a bit more recording mastery to get it cleaner, I think. Thanks for giving this a listen. :)
