Yay! =D
This is late for Eevee day, but thats not what it was made for anyway X3
i hardly ever do chibi, this prolly has a lot wrong with it, but tell me if you see something o:
sorry its so small :p
this really took way too long for a colored sketch, i lost track, probably 3 hours? X3
there's this very particular style i like, its sort of specific because things that look similar may not be what i was looking for, and very very few people consistently make it that way i like... but i got some tips kindly from [oob] about how he does it, and gave it a try =3
Prolly going to scraps later, but might make a larger polished version of this sometime later.
what you think?

Chibis can be really difficult to proportion. Typically, an average figure is 7 1/2 heads tall, while chibis are 2 to 3 (depending on style). Because it's such a drastic change, there's a lot more energy put into making things look appealing and proper, and it's a little frustrating. You did a very good job with proportional height, though I am going to point out that his arms and legs are just a liiiiiittle too short for how long his torso is. Practice makes perfect though, and I'm sure your next attempt will be even better!! I really like his face, it's so cute.
Do you draw with a mouse, or a tablet?

i drew with a wacom intuos 3 (yis, old! XD )
oob gave me some more tips after looking this one over and i hope to remake one of these two all nicely polished in flash along with the suggestions, thank you! =3
his suggestions agree to yours (in a slightly different but sort of the same way), i hope to be able to apply this stuff to more than chibi eevees X3
the faces are hit and miss, some expressions just stump me X3
they'll be right mostly, but something will be off and i never can pin it X3
same with feral back legs, so much trouble making them look right o:
thanks very much for your detail comment! =3

Nothing wrong with that! As long as it still works, then that's all you need. I know plenty of people who can make due with older or very limited supplies. Certain tools can make things easier, yeah, but what counts is how you use them!! :p
Yes, hind legs are very difficult too. It really helps to look at pictures of cats and dogs and see how they work in real life, and then apply it to your work. Once you get the hang of it though it's not so bad haha.
