SHEEPYBELLS ARE NOW OPEN FOR CREATION. Please show me your babies, I'd love to see them! Also please note that only common and uncommon traits are for open creation.
Mythology:
SheepyBells are a race of sheep critters that serve as guardians of sleep. They are known to look over people whom have trouble sleeping and produce a soft jingle noise to lull them to sleep. They also will wake the sleeper by producing a louder noise when they detect nightmares or intensely uneasy sleep. Each SheepyBell has a different tone and sound to their bells.
Each SheepyBell will bond to a sleeper and keep them as safe in dream world as they can, however there are perils. Sheepybells who have broken all of their bells become bringers of nightmares. They produce a eerie cracking noise that causes vivid nightmares. Most sheepybells do not survive the breaking of all their bells and those that break some bells will lose their sound.
In some areas of the world SheepyBells are shaven for their wool which is used to make sheets and blankets. The most preferred for this are the silk and fluff coats. As those coats are the most comfortable. People have reported easier sleep with these items.
Biology:
These are a semi long lived creature and clear sexual dimorphism. The males have horns while females do not. However there are very rare cases of females having horns. There are always bells in three spots on their bodies. The ear, neck and tail. Can be on one side, either side or same amounts on both sides.
It should also be noted that SheepyBells have a musical baa that many find appealing and relaxing.
Reproduction:
Reproduction occurs between a male and female SheepyBell. They usually breed during the winter and give birth in late spring. Females will only have one two babies, triplets being a very rare occurrence. The lambs are born with small bells to begin with that harden and grow as they age.
