Taking a stab at sci fi armors since I can shade now as compared to way back when.
It's an armored suit, probably weighing in on the side of heavy.
Let's go make up some stuff about it.

Toyo Heavy Industries Model 7 (M7)

A pioneer in its field, the M7 multi-role atmospheric suit remained the primary workhorse of space-borne and danger-related applications until its eventual replacement by newer, more efficient technologies.

Toyo Heavy Industries updates the line every few years however, and thanks to its longtime, widespread implementation, these models remain fairly prevalent due in part to the legacy connections allowing new suits to utilize old components; many of which, while dated, retain their value due in part to their unique applications and limited production runs.

The current suit being donned by Cloudwolf is kitted out for combat applications(M7 MAS-C), as shown by the armored plating. The space application variant adds a backpack to the suit as well as various additional thrusters for maneuverability.
