Taking a few days off work, figured I should probably do SOME drawing at least, if only to warm up.. So I did a rough ref sheet of Sha. Summary of character personality follows:

Sha Vida
A highly intelligent and wise (barn) owl with more money than many kingdoms can boast about. She's amassed her incredible fortune through brilliant business choices and a keen sense of people and personalities, as well as by selling inordinate amounts of fashionable designs to royalty and commonfolk alike.

From an outsider's perspective, Sha can seem both cold and cruel, with her blunt and straight-forward approach to social interaction. However, in spite of her cold and calculative personality, she is also a playful and fun-loving woman, who enjoys intelligent conversations, romantic sunsets (because of their beauty, not the romance. Who has time for such silly things anyway..) and a good Vildin wine.

Her eyes are perhaps her most striking feature, not only in their appearance, but also her remarkable attention to detail. This is a woman who can spot -anything- out of place, memorize entire books in moments and solve even the most challenging of puzzles.

Her eyes can also be psychological weapons in some cases, having a fear-inducing effect on those unfortunate enough to find themselves staring too deeply (such as if she's angry enough that she's getting in their face).

While she can take a ribbing almost as good as she can give it, she is extremely sensitive about her sub-species (she is a barn owl), as it suggests she was born in a barn, which she most certainly was NOT. She also has bony hands, so having her punch you in the face WILL hurt, in spite of her small stature.

Physically, she's roughly 5' high, thin and light body with an elegant feather coat. Flat-chested, but has a solid pair of hips and a feminine, attractive figure which she has no qualms about showing off. In fact, she strongly dislikes covering up her natural beauty, and will only ever wear clothing if it's absolutely necessary.
