So the main reason I opened for commissions is because I really... REALLY wanted to commission  captaingerbear

I've never quite trusted anyone to capture my characters but he did a simply amazing job with my character Ruthgo. I can't put into words how much I am in love with this. Ruthgo is very dear to me, and seeing him done in such a way really... just gives me the feels lol He recreated him better than I ever could and truly brought him to life for me. He has also given me something strive for. His art is simply amazing and watching him from start to finish was, and always is such a treat. I've made considerable improvements in my art since I started following Captaingerbear. Not only that but he is a really cool guy, super friendly, and very approachable. He even did a little art lesson for me on body hair! I didn't even ask, we just got into a discussion and I mentioned I struggled with it and he just started giving me some great tips and showed me how to do it. His personality and demeanor make his art all the more enjoyable. I will definitely be commissioning him again!

So yeah this is my character Ruthgo going for a peaceful secluded horse ride, where he can feel at peace away from judgmental eyes. He is a very self conscious man these days so being able to escape the confines of his clothing is very relaxing for him. No dealing with rude city folk, no dealing with hyperactive children, no wife constantly checking up on him, it's just him, his loyal steed and nature. Perhaps when the kids are older, he will go back to that life he left behind after he met Kiva.
