I'm at a total lost of words here... that's just so... so... abstract that I don't know anymore.
THATS really the LAST thing ANYONE would have expected to happen. You really did it and surprised me. That's so f****** AWESOME! I would give this page at least 10 favs if I could. But I can't.
I still feel bad for poor Star... wait a minute... where is Fee?

it's forgetable....
I've almost answered a door/window with one before >.>
and then as I was about to open it I was like "Give me a minute!"
It was pretty terrifying, but I forgot it was in my mouth until it was almost too late.
If you get woken up in the middle of a fire, I'm sure that whatever is in your mouth is the last thing on your mind.

Meanwhile in an alternate universe...
(Too tired to noticed what she's saying) "Ugg, time to get up for work already? I'll go put on my uniform. Smells like she burnt the breakfast, sure is hot in here."
"Why the fuck are you trying to get dressed at a time like this!!! the building is on fire!!!"

That last frame! Priceless! Just love the "Oh crap!" expression on Star's face. (sucks the apartment is toast) (no pun intended) And I just assume the pets were more within Ely's reach and closer to the door. I'm pretty sure Star is more important . (aaaand now I'm just asking for a hard time from Runt...) *walks away quietly*
This is like a scene straight out of Zatoichi (the Blind Samurai). The whole house was burned down by crooks, everyone managed to get out safely but then a couple of on lookers notice one man was wearing woman's make-up. (It's a whole thing, there's a cross dresser and the man was curious if anyone could look pretty with make-up.) Point of the matter was that nobody seemed to care afterwards because of the big fire. I'm not sure this will go as smoothly though, but still very interesting.
So I finally went on a Shine-reading binge, taking it all in from the beginning. Figured this page was as good a place as any to express how much I enjoy it! What really gets me is that although I've had a different experience with ABDL than your leading lady, there are soooo many little things here that I relate to. It's strangely uplifting to pick up on all those common threads.
Anyway, lovely work! Can't wait to see all the new places you go with it :)

1. This comic STILL surprises me. I had NO idea THAT was coming...
2. I guess you could say the chili was... FLAMING HOT! xD BADUM TISH! *crickets chirp*
3. The facial expression, though simplified, IS SO CUTE AND PERFECT it makes me jealous, empathetic and really feel like they are real beings... it's absolutely astounding. I don't know how but when you draw star, some of the frames I swear I can mistake her for a kitten! Bringing out those AB/DL/Cubby thoughts into a drawing is extremely hard! It's extremely difficult visually showing the emotion inside and you do it so well; You should be proud!
4. This is why you need a large supply of waterballoons at ALL times! D:

I absolutely love the look on Elly s face and Stars for that matter in the last frame. You can tell Elly has totally forgotten about the fire for a few moments. And STAR is thinking ohoh, how
Should I explain this? Or would it be easier to just run back into a burning building now.
