Finally! A big thanks to 
jinkiesblinkies for being so patient. I bought a clear oval dome online to use for the gem and it got lost for a couple of weeks, so it feels like we've been working on this for ages xD
I love how it turned out though, there was some trial and error with painting the gem and installing the gem, but I think it was totally worth it. I hope you like the end result!
