This is part eight of a thirteen-part RP story I did with  kerokason. It stars my eight Keepers -- Storm, Jobe, Michel, Jabu, Vyk, Nalan, Arlo, and Ryth -- and his villain, the Corrupted, the villain of our first RP story together, "Korrupted Keepers." This is, finally, the direct sequel to that story! It should've been a slam-dunk story completed only in a number of weeks . . . but terrible drama on one of our ends resulted in this whole story dragging on for nine whole months. We started it in late February and didn't finish it till just this past Monday! Still, it was a lot of fun to do, with me only playing heroes and him taking a spin at only playing a villain, and despite what he thought of himself, I thought he did really well at it!

In this eighth part, the Keepers, having been forced to escape from Exodus, have now gone on the run, going into hiding in a cave in the hidden, Sui-dominant village of Tobis. They've met the source of the mysterious voice -- a sage named Kipat, who wants to train them to make them strong enough in their magic to defeat Exodus. It'll take a long time, but they should get all the training they'll need.

Elsewhere, Exodus is getting to work in making his bid to take over Aterea, building a fortress and fending off some attacks from the world's military. Can anything stop him? . . .

To let you all know, this story is set well before most of my other RP stories with others, so if timeline issues confuse you, I'll let you know when these events came about. This happens after "Storm and Scaler - Serval's Awakening" (a story I did with  Scaler Aegis), but before "Keepers and Hunters Unite!" (a story I did with  coyote71).
