I REPEAT: NOT. A. TURKEY.
Another character/design auction, this time a peacock themed phoenix!
Uh.. Same rules as last time.
$5 starting bid.
Minimum $5 increment.
Respond to the person who bid before you, so they know they've been outbid.
DO NOT retract your bid. Only bid if you know you have the money, and the interest in the character.
This will be ending next Tuesday (the 2nd) at midnight (mountain, so 2am Eastern). c: (You have all day Tuesday to bid.)

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to give the auction to Enigma. His bid was at midnight, so he technically won it, and you were begging him not to outbid you, which is a show of really bad faith... and shows no support to the artist. I apologize, but... don't beg people to keep the price down next time. It kinda hurts the artists feelings. ;w;
With as fast as the comments built up, I trust that yours was before/on midnight, so you technically did win... and he was begging you to keep the price down, when the point of an auction is to bid what you can... And it's saying 'the artist doesn't deserve more money because i can't afford any more so don't outbid me'..
Alright, my email is jawbonecommissions[at]gmail.com

Why? A phoenix is just a bird that happens to be magical and firey.
When reading about phoenixes, they tend to be described as.. majestic, or beautiful, or... whatever.. but never really described as a specific kind of bird... You can make them look like any kind of existing bird you want, or like some random assortment of bird pieces and looks like no "real" bird.
I happened to make this one look like a peacock.
