Kei's fur buzzed with static and warmth flooded through his body. Chips applied more pressure to the lever with his forepaw. Before him was a whirring mass of gears, buttons, and levers.
"Quit stalling! I'll be fine!" Kei snapped and rolled his eyes.
Chips' expression remained worried, but he nodded and pushed the lever down as far as it would go. A flash of light filled the room, focusing to a point which blasted into the purple flox. Kei yelped and, to his surprise, the exclamation grew higher and higher pitched.
Once the light faded away, Kei could be seen in the same place where he'd been before. Only now, he was much, much smaller--barely the size of one of his paws had been before--and was now sitting on the floor in the middle of his now incredibly-oversized collar! The shrink ray had actually worked!
I've had this scenario in my head for ages, and finally got a part of it drawn up~ X3
