Hah I totally forgot to answer the question of the week!

I sang all the time for as long as I could remember. So I really just continued with it, on through music courses in high school to being a voice major in college. I just can't stop :P

Thanks so much for featuring my cover! I'm really proud of how it turned out and honored that it was able to catch your attention, and of course MAJOR thanks goes to  shadowwolfen for generously mastering it for me; his skills greatly surpass my own.

All the musicians featured this week did some phenomenal work. It's great to see this spotlight finally returning after its long hiatus.

As far as the Question of the Week: I've been doing music since before I can really remember. There have been a lot of musicians in my family, and my mother got me started with playing piano when I was probably 3 or 4. I did choir and musical theater in my youth, started playing saxophone in concert band in middle school, played piano and saxophone in jazz bands in high school and college (where I majored in music composition), and after taking an unscheduled break from music over the last few years, have been really trying to get back into it again as of late.

Anyway, question of the weeeek. I've been involed in music ever since I was about 6 or 7, first playing recorder and then moving to violin when I was 10 or 11. I also took up the clarinet when I was 13. I play in violin section of my county's youth orchestra and am looking to apply to the regional youth orchestra and then to the national at some point in the future! With composition I am mostly self-taught but I am on a music course now so that should expand my knowlage greatly.

I got into recording music thanks to  maxgoof who has been one of my inspirations for doing it at all for many years.

Okay, to answer the question, how did I get involved?

That depends on where you want to start.

I was singing from a very early age.

I learned several instruments in elementary and high school.

If you mean on FA, it was through doing parodies at first, then I started doing covers and Christmas carol.

That lead to The Beach Bears Story.

I started to get involved through playing the guitar but writing and production wise when I first started listening to electronic music and wanted to do it myself.

As for the question:
I think i started getting into doing music when i wanted to play guitar like my dad does. Already loved singing anyway even before then, but only realised I wanted to get into it the further I continued on learning and improving on the guitar. And im always trying to improve.
