Thanks,
yeah that tub was the biggest issue for me. It's like, I like the shape of it, but just wish I could have made the nozzle and all that stuff look further away to make the tub seem much longer. But i'm glad you like the environments. The green/yellow were fun to mix.

I like it.
It reminds me of a scene in the book "Master and Margarita" where one of the personages heals himself from gun wounds by drinking motor oil. I quote "The only thing that can save a fatally wounded cat is a sip of kerosene."
I love that book, it's so gallantly crazy!
I have to commend your attention to detail, especially how you made the oil drip from the beak and onto the tub. It feels tainted and morbid.

That sounds like an awesome and gnarly book. I can imagine drinking the oil then having your body regenerate like wolverines. Awkwardest superpower ever.
Thank you for the compliments~
I was worried about how I was going to originally draw that part because I couldn't ever draw a 'slash' effect right. So I instead tried drawing the oil all gummy and syrupy which I do believe I enjoy more.

When I was looking at this amazing piece, I was listening to this particular Locust Toybox tune https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOs0vYlAw6s
and it was just blending so well as I just admire the grand details amongst this piece. Wunderbar piece as always my dear Pash, your growth in your talent is in such a rapid state and makes me so gleeful every time.

Call me odd for noticing, but Pashmenia's tongue always seem to droop off to the right of the beak when it's open. Anywho, the picture! Anywho, this looks really good. Pashmenia all brightened up looks pretty neat too. It looks pretty casual about vomiting, like it's a typical thing, maybe it is! Although, Pashmenia's expression tells me either that it's angry it couldn't take downing some oil, or sad that it did that to begin with. Maybe Pashmenia was just bored.
The background looks really, really good, but what's got me going 'dayum' is the floor. That looks really, really good! The little bit where the tub ends on the bottom right makes the whole thing look more, well, it makes it pop outta the screen! It's fun seeing what you do with your character, makes me smile. Perspective is hard, and you did it nicely.

I noticed that too now that you mention it, haha. I guess it's because I always felt more comfortable drawing Pash from the right side, and because of that I end up drawing the tongue drooping off over the right side instead of the left. Wouldn't hurt to change it up some though. I'm glad you like the lighting I tried to put on em. I tried for the longest time to do that 'slight feather' detail instead of leaving Pash all cell shaded, but I couldn't get it to work right this time. I also should have tried to make Pash's psture look more like a heaving motion instead of that relaxed-and-leaning posture. It's nothing too regretful.
I'm happy you like the floor! That's what took me the longest to do here. I did so many weird shading and image bending to make the floor tiles look somewhat natural to the position of the room. I didn't plan ahead for most of this picture.. But yeah. I used some contrast tampering to make the colors match the atmosphere of the room.

Thank you man <3
The floor was a bugger, it is drawn though. I had drawn a small black square then copy and pasted it over and over to make a large grid of squares. I tried to make them equally match lengths as much as I could, then I took that layer of squares and ached it sideways and stretched it until I was satisfied with the way it matched the room shape. Last was just using a marker and airbrush to spam different blues and greens as I got closer to the light on the wall, then went into my options menu to lower the contrast and saturation of the floor until it became a pale and lifeless color. Didn't realize I typed this much until I looked up.
