I haven’t drawn an insect in… ever? I think this is honestly a first. So yay for that I guess. If I draw any more, they’ll likely be moths because I have my eye on a few particularly pretty species.
Her wings are really low on her body, like a real mantis, because when folded, they’d look kind of like coattails or the tassets on a suit of armor. Regarding flight, I suppose her legs and abdomen could act as a ballast (assuming she can fly at all, of course. Females of many mantis species can’t).
Her arms are structured kind of like a pterosaur wing, with the ‘claw’ being formed from the pinky finger, in order to give her functional hands while keeping the characteristic look. She was also going to have four legs originally, but they kinda cluttered her design and looked like they would be really clumsy on an anthro body anyway. Four arms would have probably worked a bit better, but not so much for a mantis.

The Mantis is my absolute favourite! It's got this neat semi-anthroism going for it, I like that. Insects are hard to draw out of memory though, I've tried a few times and as far as details go you might as well just shoot me in the face right away.
Well, all in all you are doing a bang-up job at it. You already have the chitin armouring down from various other things you've done before. It looks simple enough to allow your eyes to grab hold of it, but doesn't lack necessary details to become dull. Really the only thing I thought was lacking were the three extra eyes between the pair of antenna and even that is disputable.
