Okay so a great friend of mine has been helping me quite a bit in so many ways and refusing to let me reimburse him in any way. So...I figured out a way to show my gratitude in one way.

It's a little known fact that I actually...really enjoy painting clouds. Water...not so much. So I was sitting here, brain storming...day dreaming really. Thinking of my children's book concepts and one of them came to mind. A sea turtle...who dreamed he could fly through the skies like the seagulls and pelicans he frequently meets when surfacing for air.

I did this speed painting as an exercise and to try and get a better grip of the new Photoshop CS6 (some of you already know...my previous computer literally died, trying hard to salvage what I can from it's shut down crashed hard drive) I invested a good chunk of money into a new computer (ouch at this time of year!!! *flail*) Anyways...this is the first real good piece of art I produced in the new software, its going to take me a while to get a good feel of it and arrange toolbars and windows where I am comfortable.

Matt's favorite animals are turtles, and I have always wanted to do a sea turtle so...there ya go. LOL Thanks again Matt ^^ Hope you like!
