Another day, another adventure into the difficult and scary world of digital artwork.

Waxell is a character in PMDA; A wild and free young Vaporeon, who takes life as a game and a curiousity. Inexperienced and ignorant of the world at large, the impulsive Vaporeon often finds his way into trouble. None the less, his pure heart and boundless enthusiasm have won over the hearts of many who would gladly help him through any difficulty his boundless surging energy cannot overcome.

After my practise so far, drawing Waxell seemed like the next logical step. I'm not sure why, because as it turns out, the little scamp is a tricky beast to draw!

This was essentially one evening of drawing and another full day of corrections and revisions. It seems Waxell breaks my drawing habits in a number of ways. I'm a bugger for making my proportions too conservative and Waxell's shiny blue butt utterly broke me. I had five seperate layers titled, "Waxell Ass Extension." Silver ultimately pointed out that Waxell's hips are actually way wider then his chest. o.o

I'd gone for a really awkward position too - but Waxell demanded no less. Silver is right - it's hard to picture him keeping still for any length of time.

I think a lot of the proportions and details may still be off, but I think I've done what I can with this picture and I'm ready to share it for feedback.

I think I need more practise with him before I do any more complex pieces...
