I guess this counts as my post-thanksgiving stuffed picture for the year, and it's just more gross fanart, sorry, not sorry. Lately my thoughts have been occupied with La Muerte cramming the entirety of that giant feast down her husband's throat. >:3 But I'm sure he wouldn't object, greedy thing that he is.
Gloopy, semi-transparent monsters filled with food and junk is one of my big things. I blame Spirited Away. XD

when i was watching the book of life, i was like "wow xibalba is cute, but you know what would make him cuter? him being really fat" so thank you for fulfilling this dream, hah.

DAMN he's gigantic! He must weigh in some gorgeous tonnage there <3 I'm absolutely fascinated with how huge and wide Xibalba is, being a big fat semi-transparent godly mass of black tar goo~ I swear if I keep seeing more of this I'm gonna crush over him head over heels ;w;
As much as I love all your work, I especially love your xibalba stuff <3 Loved this movie and loved these two the most and seeing him a fat, bloated, tar-blob in your art style is so great. I can totally hear Xibalba's body making the same glunking and sloshing sounds no-face's did in spirited away, with him at this size. ` w'
Aaah, thank you, that's so nice to hear! <33 These two have kinda been my obsession for the past month or so and I'm having a lot of fun drawing/roleplaying him (particularly in situations like this XD) so there will definitely be more to come in the (hopefully near) future. Just gotta think up more stuff to do with him, so if you have any scenes (or sizes) in mind you can let me know :3

That third tumblr doodle you linked and my own earlier thoughts on drawing Xibalba "remembered" (as such, he'd be made of semi-transparent resin + amber, I think) gave me an idea... La Muerte could feed him fizzy candy and watch her hubby being a big ol' lava lamp.
