Figured I'd toss this up as I'm doing more with developing my home brew race of creatures. I figure, as a society of dragon creatures who are more technological than tribal they wouldn't really have a set religion. They have gods they patron to as they feel they represent their circle best but otherwise they don't have an organized religion.
I made their belief system loosely based on the Buddhist Wheel of Life. Their society is based around circles and the relation of the beginning and the end. Which I tried and very poorly represented by having the hands crest the circle boarder. The only one that doesn't is the life/death circle cause all things die and from death there is -sometimes- new life.
Also the circle in the head and the implied circle in the hands represents the mind and body, it doesn't count as a separate part of worship but pretty much the center of whatever circle is followed. A person would follow a certain circle of worship and have a secondary circle than the whole thing based on their personal preferences.
blah blah blah oh and it's shortens to cow which is funny to me.

Makes sense, quite a bit indeed, and the Chakras as far as I recall are also directly linked to various states of mind including emotions, lending work done with specific ones a distinctly emotion-charged feel to it. Intriguing.
I'm kind of surprised I drew the connection, and impressed even more that I was right. I tend to be pretty far off-base, what with my weird ideas and all. ^_^

I really love it. I'm a Hindu, and I like how this drawing has multiple arms. It's also very meditative. Great concept. I'm sure that's how our ancient Fathers created religions (or maybe the Gods planted the ideas in their heads and they thought they were way cool believing they created them). Hmm...maybe a God from an Alternate Furry Universe is trying to contact you!
