Kiki's body tutorial: Very wordy description
So I made a body shape tutorial, and labeled everything so I could just type it out rather than have an image that's too big to upload and have to keep digging for a link....
ANYWAY:
A: Shoulders: Men are known to have broader shoulders than women. Even femboys do. Regardless of gender, people born with male genitalia are known to have broader shoulders. Women have softer and more rounded features while men have more squarish features. You can argue all you want but this is how it's always been.
B, G, H: Back legs- Men: The back of men's legs are curvier than women's because men generally have more noticeable muscles in their legs than women do. They also have smaller looking glute areas.
C/E: Front legs- Men: The curves tend to be more on the upper thighs because of muscle location. But also notice it looks like aa softer curve. If you look at the leg going into and past the knee, it should not protrude outward in an awkward way.
D: Stomach- Men's: No one has a flat stomach unless they starve themselves or have work done. There is a curve near the groin area where intestines are located
F: Back- Men's: A male has a fairly straight back. Men aren't built to be as curvy as women are so their back does not curve the same.
I: Hands: Th is goes for all hands ever. The fingertips stop mid thigh. They are closer to hips than knees.
J/K: Neck: Necks are not super thin. They are thick. Study the size of your neck in the mirror. Different people have different neck sizes of course, and it isn't against the law to look at someone's neck.
L: Boob shape: I see way too many people drawing boobs wrong....Boobs are rain drop shaped. They are not circles, ovals, triangles, or any other shape naturally. You wanna draw "perky perfect" boobs? Obviously whoever you're drawing got some surgery done because boobs should not look like balloons tacked on a body. A good tutorial for learning how to draw boobs can be found HERE I used it when I was learning body proportions and to this day glance at it sometimes.
M: Waist curve: Men do not curve the way women do. It's just how people are made so now matter how much you argue, it won't change anything. All women curve in at least slightly at the waist no matter what size they are.
N: Back curve: Women's backs curve in more than men's backs at the waist. Women tend to look softer and have more rounded, curved edges
O/R/T: Leg backs- Women: Women DO have muscles. They just don't look as chiseled as men's so they are softer. But they STILL EXIST.
P: Stomach: All woman bodies have a curve where their uterus is located. It is easier to notice when a woman is on her period due to bloating. (yeah yeah it's gross, get over yourself). No one has a flat stomach without starving themselves or having work done. Remember that.
Q/S: Leg front- Women: They curve softly
Hope this was helpful :D
