Gift art for the wonderfully nefarious
ThisCrispyKat, who made me some gift art a month or so ago featuring Shine Bright Bear and some good ol' fashioned skull pie!
SO. I made a little giftie in return of her custom Bear, Bishounen Bear. Bishie Bear represents every femme doe-eyed anime boi that's graced y-gallery. He's here to remind us that we all have a 13 year old otaku inside us who SQUEES at the sight of anything yaoi.
Kawaii! ^_^

Every once in a while, I come across something that just makes me laugh and laugh. Maybe it's because this drawing sums up my style of drawing so well, and you did it without even knowing me! For reasons I don't quite understand, guys I draw tend to be seriously cute, rather than traditionally handsome and manly. Maybe it has something to do with RL, the fact that I was metro, long before the word was coined, I think. Who knows; but thank you, for brightening up my day.
Oh, BTW... Too bad you weren't able to go with us when we were in Toronto two weeks ago. There was a Star Trek/sci fi/anime/fantasy/comic book con going on at the convention center downtown. We didn't have the camera handy when we just happened on the first day's opening, but man - what a sight! Michi and I had a lot of fun playing "Guess The Genre" with the people outside and the way they were dressed. The Trekkies (what few we saw) and the comic book people weren't any fun because we knew right away what part of the con they were from. The anime people were the most wildly dressed. You would'a loved it!
