Since technically he's a Commander now (although who the hell would give him such a rank..) Gherrek feels better off doing rather than leading, and he LOATHES paperwork, hence him getting stuck in with tasks like helping out getting trees for lumber.

Making him a commander was an unusual idea; but it's the fact at lvl 100 he somehow got made a GENERAL that truly defies belief. :P
(And yes Gherrek hates the paperwork side of things, which is why his mate Karagar (AKA: Me) has taken it on; making him something between a military clerk, a personnel officer and a cleric (he's a shaman) )
