While working on commissions I try to have something running in the background. (an entertaining Let's Play, Jon Stewart, etc) Recently, Salah got me watching Keroro Gunso... thus spawning these few images,

I like the pic a lot, the crossover about Sargent Keroro and Team Fortress 2 is really good.
Also, the pic made me think for a moment. After seeing it, I've thought that one suitable for the engineer charge would be the twisted evil keronense Kururu (the yellow one with whirl glasses), he is able to do very fiery machines, demostrated in the anime. However, if Keroro is the engineer, then Kururu can be the spy, you may hear his evil laugh anywhere, even under your bed when you're sleeping.

The medic and Kuru both strike me as someone with the potential to solve all the problems of the world -- but rather sit back and watch the chaos (90% of the time wrought by their own means.)

Cool, I didn't imagined about that possibility. I can imagine Kururu with the white outfit of medic full of blood of many foes =D.
And about the potential to solve all the problems of the world, you're right, both have it but none of both use it: the Medic cures the ones in combat only (as you say, sit back and watch the chaos, but while healing), leaving the rest of the world die of so many diseases x3 (disadvantages of being available only in combat); and Kururu has the power to destroy the world.
Hey, you made me remember that Kuru made at least one poison in the anime that was used against Natsume, now the medic charge fits even more to him.

I have not seen much of the Keroro Gunso series other then the movie, which made me laugh. So much Gundam references and parodies of other mecha shows. xD Build that Zako II Keroro~
