for what game system did you build this.

i am currently building a modular firebace for my space marines.

anything in the 35mm scale really (although this piece was used in D&D as a major battle terrain), I do commissions if you wish. I am good at buildings, mainly of D&D type, sandy or rocky "exterior" terrain, but I could try modern terrain if you have any ideas. I can do scaling for Warhammer 40,000 mainly be cause I have a few minis from that setting, they're just a hair bigger than D&D all I would have to do is plan functioning doors to allow the large standards to pass through.

And yes the minis I have for Warhammer are marines, mainly a few of the heroes (I just mainly liked how they looked) and not as nearly as well as I would have to like have painted them. They were some of my first after all.

currently oue club is working on imperial type militery buildings and demon world type terrane peaces.

I can do some mountainous terrain for your demon world, if you need a mountain (or large slope on a mountain). You response made me think of a great idea. I'm guessing a regular sized Space Marine unit of about 20 to 30 pieces, I don't know point scales, never played just liked the figures (and if I did I think the eldar would be my speed).

Now the idea, a landing craft crashed on this "demon world" (I would need reference pics of tones and shapes) I might be able to make the crash site with landing craft. If I look over some 40,000 artwork (particularly ships and Military Bases for the setting) I can know what I can do better, there are some new ideas I have been toying with that may be able to come into play. I can make them 1'x1' or 2'x2' sections except the craft which would be one piece. I can also do a series of underground caverns that the creatures of this "demon world" could inhabit very well and fairly cheap.

As for final price I would have to know what you want and then I could give a rough price.
The final price will be determined by the following Four things
1. Time working on it (more time than expected more, finished quicker less, rush job ignoring other commitments more)
2. Materials (more costly the higher the higher the price, although I usually use scraps from bigger projects but I might need to buy bits from my hobby shop ti enhance it)
3. Shipping (standard rate with full insurance with help to repair it online if any pieces come loose)
4. Fun making it (the more fun I have in the making of the project the less I charge)

PS: If you know any good furry artists having my avatar made would be a large price drop in the final price.

Please note that most of my work is placed on wood foundations, for better survivability and longevity. And if the size of the field is what I think what it might be then it might be my biggest piece yet.

for now untill we can aford to rent our own game room we are limited with peaces no more than 12" (30c) wide and outdore seen ,somthing we can put on our table then put back in storage befor they kick us out of the game store, that and shipping a wholl table would be dificult.

why the need for demonic looking terrane peaces representing the corruption from the ruines power

prefab emperial buildings as forward baces of the invading (liberating) troops.

note one of our members is going eldar so if your in the mood to do somthing like that instead .

again it all depends in what your in the mood to do and what kind of material and bits you have on hand

as for an artis , you dont neet to look further tha yours truly.

12' wide total or each part? Also I need some knowledge on how the Chaos attack and corrupt, if I remember right Eldars prefer bright, vivid colors and sharp, deep metallics in their colors. Marines are unit or branch standard and Chaos use angry reds, blood reds, and darker colors. I can make any where from five to 15 12"x12" pieces or rocky war torn, polluted terrain fairly quickly and reasonably priced. For a little extra I can include a sectioned carrying case to haul then in. If you have an Idea of what you may want tell me if not I can send you a few sketches (PLEASE forgive my horrible artwork) via email (just PM you email to me) and we can go from there.

Also just a note, if your artwork is enough to get the piece for free labor you will still have to pay for shipping. As for my avatar your stuff looks good, how are you at darker tones and depending on what is finalized maybe two pieces for the lot. (Excluding shipping of course)

from what i understand , your tallents and ambition are more suted to full sized game table than small terane moduals wich is all we are allowd to have atm.

in warhammer 40k ther are 4 types of terrane peaces
aria terane thuch as forest and crators , gunpits , foxholes ,offer cover from fire or act as some sort of barricade , you can put several figurs under cover in such a peace.
ruins , or similar peaces , tipicly thies offer walls that can block like of sight and can have multiple levles and vantige points to fire from
buildings , building are fully enclose modles you dont have to put figurs in , they have to have atlead one dore and can have windows and fireing slits , bunkers are a good example example
OTHER terrane models are more for esterics such as spirers or anything that blocks line of sight and cant put modles on or in it.

why am i wrighting this down , warhammer has spesific needs in terms of terrane , not to mention the needs of our club.

i am more than willing to do an avatar and proosebly a couple of extra peaces for your entertanment.

If you want I can put up some of my smaller pieces so you can see I can do small scale as well.

I'll get it around 1:00pm EST. One of the good parts is it has a working door. And why must buildings be enclosed? If i'm getting shot at i'm not standing outside a door I can't open. What I can do is like I said make some sketches and see what you like (probably no bunkers as they are overdone, unless I feel extra creative)
