A new character I've made for a story (that's been on serious hiatus lately) I'm making, The Nightmare from Down Below!
A little background story of why I chose this type of appearance and symbol for him: As some of you may know (if you’ve read my RP threads on Tumblr where Mabyn is around), Mabyn happens to be the outcast of Hell, and was considered as Satan’s most favorite demon (kind of like how Satan was God’s favorite). However, many of Satan’s followers (and his own demons) were favoring Mabyn more, and made Satan assume that Mabyn was planning on taking the throne (in which he is the heir to the throne, regardless of not being a descendent of Satan). What made him furious, was that Mabyn was an acquaintance to Michael, and assumed that he was planning to rule him out. So in this case, Satan banished him for eternity, and now the demon lingers in the In-Between of Hell and Earth.
In many Satanic churches, books of Summons, etc. (this is fictional, it’s not real), Mabyn’s name is not written in any of them, because it’s practically “forbidden” to mention him to others. However, many have secretly summoned him once or twice for answers, and he showed mercy and patience upon others rather than trickery. He is, what most people nicknamed him, the Good Horn. He is known to have four ram horns (two on his head, and two in the back of his head), a head and lower body of a goat (referenced by the demon, Baphomet), a black flame floating over his head, piercing red eyes, four long reptilian-like tentacles, and the Triangle of Solomon on his epigastric region. If you guys have seen the symbol of Baphomet (the upside down pentagram), usually it means “Satan”. I’ve also been shocked by what I just created (I really didn’t mean to, it just happened), but if you look at Mabyn, his horns are more curved than pointed upward—so you can say mini symbol would be the Heartagram.
Why did I choose the Triangle of Solomon? Why did I even choose the symbol that’s been used in Paranormal Activity? Simple explanation, if you take a look at it, on all three points lies “MI” “CHA” and “EL”, guess what that spells: “MICHAEL”. When using this symbol to summon Mabyn, he will appear, but will have to obey you due to the triangle that surrounds him. The 3 sacred names of God (won’t be seen on this symbol) are also written on either side of the triangle, it’s basically supposed to keep Mabyn in his place, and not escape or disobey. With Michael’s name only written in it, it shows that he’s the “guardian” or “owner” of Mabyn.
