Well, the map on the right side is obviously based on the kabbalistic sephirot (taking into account that the very same could be read as a map to creation).
The design for the individual spheres on the same map in turn are more directly based on mayan symbols to give a sense of ancientness to the map.
The heliocentric diagram on the left is more forgetteable in turn, IMO.
