do you render everything with one brush?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. This painting was done with many, many custom brushes, the one after this was done almost entirely with one brush, that was mostly what I was practicing: What I could with lots of custom brushes, and what I could accomplish with mostly one.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15186283/ you talking about this one? to me this could have been waaaay better with a little more done to it with some of the glass and reflective objects and the character himself is good but I feel he could be so much more with a little more rendering on the antlers. the alien looks cool but it would be awesome to see it more detailed.

but yeah I know commission works have to be done on a tite timeline and the amount you get payed does reflect work so I know how that can work and it suck sometimes.

Reminds me of 343 Guilty Spark from Halo CE. Not the Monitor, the first level where you find the Flood.

I loved this when I first saw it. Everything looks so lush and vibrant. And that bird-creature adds so much life. ...Even though this is a forest, and is already filled with life... Uh, you know what I meant!

Haha, I'm probably gonna use a setting like this in one of my D&D sessions, I love a good Fangorn forest or Mirkwood-type setting!

Lots of custom foliage brushes with a good layer of hand-painting applied on top of it to do away with at least -some- of the repetitive nature of custom brushes, haha.

I'm super glad everyone seems to like it! Nobody ever really commissions landscapes, so I'm glad I have some patreon supporters so I have the time to do stuff like this for myself!
