Part of an Art Trade with

Letherhands

Fury's people use and experiment with the Fire Gems which leads to them having charred arms or other parts along with a smaller size due to the heat and lack of moisture.
Though when exposed to water their bodies absorb it go into a state as if they hadn't used them before, except for the charred limbs.
So to say they have a Ranma-esque tendency.
