So I sat down with 
Devo a week or so ago at our new place and told him the idea I had for 
esqui 's birthday. He was only too happy to oblige, so I supplied the paper and pencils, sharpener, rubber and scanner, he drew this abomination against all my irritation at the commercialisation of friendship and love under the banner of brightly coloured cartoon creatures that are ponies only in name by a massive toy and game corporation, and all the cringeworthy and outright weird fandom-warping that ensued.
Naturally, I loved it. Coloured version coming up. All credit for the sketch goes to Devo for whom this was, I am told, his first ever commission!
