It's hot pressed? I imagine that has an adjustment curve. I have this really thin hot pressed watercolour booklet, but I can barely use any paint. Have to use pencils and then gently pet it with a wet brush.

Little bristol boards actually! But it is hard to keep the color on the paper without washing it off at the same. I already like to dab more color into wet - especially around the edges.

It buckles of course, but I never had a problem with bleeding. :3
