Hey I recognize this picture. So you're the original artist, cool. Do you post on here a lot? And ever thought about submitting a "finished" version?

i'm thinking about re-doing it, since it was one of the first pictures, and i have improved since then, and its also a very popular piece it seems

As for why people seemed to like this, I can think of three things I like about this right off the bat:

First, the expression is great. Her face isn't blank. It looks like she's staring right at you. And the details (like the eyelashes) aren't over the top either, they complement her face. You did the "bedroom eyes" really well.
Second, the shading is really good. The lighting is smooth and consistent, and the shadows aren't too dark. Her whole body looks very soft and round. It's inviting.
Lastly, everything else is very simple. There aren't any bad spots in the picture that jump out and distract your attention. Everything complements the main focus of the picture.

Anyway, it's just a really easy picture to enjoy. It's really simple, there isn't a whole lot going on to distract the viewer, and the main stuff you did put in (pony butt, bedroom eyes), you drew really well.

well, now I have. All the stuff that's on here at least. It's good but I tend to prefer more realistic looking stuff.
