another song, yay. It sounds so beautiful and elegant. . It's short but wonderful. I got excited when I heard the vibraphone since my sister plays that. I had never heard of the celesta until now. The description says a rendition, so I was wondering if you could tell me who made it, or perhaps you did? I do love music, but I don't know much about famous musician, not even the modern ones.
"Elegant" is certainly an association I'm pleased to have inspired. I'm afraid I haven't worked out how to write anything more than a few minutes long yet. Something I hope I manage eventually.
I bet you had heard the celesta before even if you didn't know the name for it; it is the solo instrument in "the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy", and also figures highly in the soundtracks to the Harry Potter movies, among other Hollywood appearances.
By MIDI rendition, I mean that it isn't a recording of a live performance by real musicians, but rather something synthesized from scratch from a sound library by my computer. I compose using a music notation program, which can produce such renditions more or less automatically from a score. The kinds of instruments used in this track happen to sound more convincing in MIDI form than most-my previous post is another example of MIDI music that is rather less convincing.
