So much love for Freya!

i have a question.. i draw my lines and stuff but they come out REAL messy and they seem smudged when i use my pencil.
what is happening?

as for messy line look, you probably should refine your skecth from time to time as to not lose your overview. as for smudging, what pencil do you use? if it's too soft it will smear under your hand no matter what. in my experience a HB or B pencil is good enough to sketch out. if that doesn't help, lay a sheet of paper between drawing and your hand. keep it fast so you wouldn't shove it across your skecth, too. :)

i use normal 2 pencil and the paper thing I WILL TRY and what do u mean exactly by refine my work ?

if your sketch lines look messy to you, they probably are. some artists see through them, refinign them in the process. as for myself, however, I have to refine the preliminary sketch in the process until I just have to follow the main lines, sotosay.

i.e. erase the lines you don't want/need.

I loved this game, and I loved Freya the best out of all the characters. The whole game was very retro but super enjoyable.

There can never be enough good Freya drawings! Even in these light sketches, you've captured her noble, yet mysterious aura. I could rave about her uniqueness all day. In my opinion, she's the greatest video game character ever! Also, if you did paint that bottom piece and offered it (or copies) up for sale, I would soooo buy it!

Freya is made of win. I love Dragoons! And Freya was such a tormented character, i feel bad for her.
