More progress on my Otachi Costume which has to be done by the start of April.
Did work on her skin. Otachi isn't necessarily black all around, she is some times shown as such, but other times a sort of dark steel-blue-grey-black...I dunno, but I do what I can and black is what I can do, I do not have the materials to start dying my own fabrics and all that jazz. I feel black is a fairly accurate representation of her and the dark will help her LEDs stand out even more. As I am making the costume I DO have some artistic liberty and I'd hope to not get bashed for making her purely black. -I'm working VERY hard on hand painting on scales to the fabric I'll be using for her. Each scale is individually painted on just like on her face. Each one done by hand with either help of a pencil or a sewing needle depending on the size of the scale-

The teeth are just a light colour so one can see where they are. Otachi doesn't have pearly whites by any means,
