Varro Janan (left and middle), once a kind, gentle man, was dealt a hand of curiously bad luck. When he attempted to disrupt an otherworldly conduit in order to save his war band from death, his body was corrupted beyond repair. His reputation didn’t fare much better; he was blamed for the deaths and exiled.

Since he’s left, he’s been kept at arm’s reach. At first this was due to the ferocity and intensity of his looks. His shift to a cynic of few words hardly helped. After awhile, he decided to beat them to the punch. There are many who still are blessed when they cross his path, yet most hardly even know it.

Javith, on the other hand, is a charming fellow well versed in the ‘game’ and con. Despite this, not much is know of his past or motives.

He’s one of the few who show interest in Varro - and one of the fewer who show interest in his well being. Through unforeseen circumstances, the two end up traveling together. Naturally, Javith takes advantage and uses every opportunity to playfully get on his companion’s nerves.
