TMNT was the first true 'anthro' thing I drew when I was a kid. When the original 5 episodes aired, I was hooked. At the time I also was starting to really read the comic books my uncle bought, X-Men being most of them. So, I combined the two things I loved most at the time, Ninja Turtles and X-Men and basically made my version of the X-Men as Turtles. It was from that that bounced me into doing all the other super hero related anthro stuff I do today. (And to think I had a Turtlrine that actually had bone claws before Wolverine ended up having bone claws)
