
This is my first big Nylon 3d-print. I scaled my 3d-model for the cat puppet head to the maximum size my printer can print.
It took about 6 hours to print (layer height 0,30 mm) - weights 84g.
I used the Makerbot ABS preset - just changed the temperature of the extruder to 245°C.

This model is really tough - I can compress it to half the size and it goes back to the original form. Cannot be crushed or ripped apart.

I sold two heads at Eurofurence for charity - normally I only provide the models (http://www.thingiverse.com/Tioh/designs). This one was made for my head - too big unless you want to build a giant puppet. Also the head-shape is not bear-like at all. I haven't made model for a bear yet.
