I'm not sure if I mentioned this before now, but due to a mishap accident on Alan's part (testing a new spell, of course), Lenny gets stuck as an actual lion for about a month. His shapeshifting is rendered unusable for about a week, and after that, it only comes back slowly. He can finally reach the phase shown in that top right doodle after about three weeks (I kinda love that doodle though, so you will probably see more of him in that state, lol).

On top of that, he can't even talk at first, so he's reduced to body language, expressions, and lion noises. Luckily, his voice is the first thing to come back, so he's only like that for five days.

Naturally, he's stuck at home during the whole time he can't change back, which is bad because the plot is progressing without him, and he doesn't have a whole lot of time. D:

But don't worry, he catches up again once he's cured. And Alan never tries a spell on him again. :D

I was trying to use reference pictures of real lions, but every time I used one, it looked terrible, so I gave up and just stylized the crap out of him.
