Nothing much to feature, but I made the best of my return trip to the Udvar-Hazy Aerospace Center. Just to start it off, here is the intake of one of the most unique of airliners, the Concorde.

Oh, yes, the traffic is AWFUL there, for sure. I did see the restoration facility, but I don't know if it was open. They do have it where you can see the facility from the space section balcony (if they didn't have that then, I don't remember).
And I forgot there was a Concorde in NYC on display, as well. I bet that's cool. :)

The restoration facility I'm thinking of is out to the northeast of DC. I think you had to make an appointment to visit. It was like a 4 hour guided tour with no breaks. It was kinda crazy! A friend set it up for a bunch of us and it was fun. I'm not sure they still do that, I sorta thought I heard not.
If you ever want to visit the Intrepid, it's a piece of cake. Just go towards Lincoln Tunnel but take last exit in Joisey (Hoboken). Park and take NY Waterways ferry across to Manhattan. Carrier Intrepid is a short walk north. As long as it's not rush hour it's easy! A friend tipped me off to this trick :)
