Two teensy watercolor experiments I made the other night while messing around with my new pentel waterbrush. I liked them enough to scan them together and share! =) Used a white gel pen for the stars and their eyes. Each one is 2.5” X 3.5” on Fabriano 300lb cold press watercolor paper, I scanned them and put them side by side in Photoshop

Ooo neat! Nice duality here, I especially like the subtle texturing of the red cloud-like shapes, gives a nice feeling of volume. How did you like the brush by the way? I'm not sure if I've heard the term 'waterbrushes' before or not :P

Thank you! That's just some scrubbing that makes that texture, it's a fun way to make little bubbles in washes. :3

I was thinking about maybe selling them at FC when I go! But I'm not sure for how much, they are very small. Maybe $35 for the pair or something?

Could do that, sure! Since these are so small, they' basically just be silhouettes with eyes like these guys here. I'll keep this in mind for when I open for watercolor commissions again!
