Suppose I should finally have up a picture of my sona's current main form. And is it a doozy.
face: hyena
horns: inspired by wild Welsh mountain goats
Lion main
Front legs: Tiger
Back end: Warthog/boar
The tail is a hybrid of 4 serpents; black mamba, inland taipan, rhino viper, and hydra(if you try to cut the snake head tail off 3 more will grow back in it's place. Rinse repeat) ... I affectionately call the tail Buttsnake. There are also three other tail options that will be illustrated in a hopeful ref sheet.
And more thought went into it's components and why those snakes were chosen, than any other animal that went into creating this entire creature.... which is an awful lot of thought and effort to put into one's butt appendage.. But I like the end result. I actually had one other picture of the chimera form drawn a while ago. But I tend to procrastinate like nobodies' business.. and then Warlords of Draenor came out and I love the big boars on Draenor which inspired the hulking posture and the boar backend. and while it's not very well illustrated here, the fur actually stops at her shoulder/front legs. everything beyond that is not furred like a warthog. all the spects will be better pointed out in a reference page I hope to do later
