'And the goddess removed her skin, exposing the stars beneath it and held it up to make the sky...' '...and she watched the world through seven eyes...' '...having no skin to give them, she gave them the skin of wolves. Her children, unashamed of their gifts of wolf-skin, put on their skins when their mother's eyes were in the sky so she could see their appreciation for them....' '...And she was called The Watcher.'
Got carried away with a mid-creation mythology blip for a goddess I've been getting actually designed so instead of her how-she-presents-herself design first, you get to see an 'oops I got carried away' drawing of the creation of the sky and the mother of werewolves. WHOOPS.

Ooo neat! I saw seven glowy things from the thumbnail and wondered if this had anything to do with your headworld stuff :D
Out of curiosity, in your headword if one were to look into the sky, would you be able to see all seven moons at once, and would they be those colors?

In the world there are only 6 moons visible at 98% of the times since there is a (factual) legend where the Goddess replaced the heart of her dying lover with one of them. All six of those moons together in the sky at the same time is roughly eclipse-frequency common, and the seventh is a once in most lifetimes frequency (which a human lifespan in head world is over 100 years and a vampire or werewolf will live comfortably three times that long since they're not burning their blood for magic.)
They are those colors though. Red moon is the seventh 'once in a blue(red) moon' hearts replacement though. Their sizes are less consistent in the sky because of proximity as well.

Yep! Marcus (name of said lover) still has it, which is in part why it's such a rare sighting. Since the moons are part of her 'body', The Watcher can make/give life with them just as she did with her own blood (and substitute wolf flesh) to create werewolves. They get a lot of their power from the belief the world has in them, so the gods are rather...diligent in making sure they're the only deities worshipped since if a golden idol is given too much credit, it can be given life. At least one god started off as a bronze statue, one was a common woman who was elevated to a goddess status, one was a monster story given reverence, and another was spawned into existence just from a story someone BS made up at some point...albeit this was all in their 'before this world was made' worlds where they originated separate from each other.
The blue colored moons have a very similar orbit and in fact can pass by very close to each other (if you've seen the gif of the meteor that almost hit earth, think about how close that thing got to earth/the moon. Scary! But only to each other, not the planet too. @__@), the gold and purple moon orbit on the opposite axis and will always be on opposite sides of the sky when they appear together. So blues = horizontal, nonblues = vertical.

Aaah so truly belief-inspired systems, those can have all sorts of incredibly interesting, crazy, weird, awesome, and varied results! Since one of these deities was capable of creating a shapeshifting ability, and another was able to create 'vampires' (not sure how they function/become vampires in your headworld), are there any that are capable of creating entirely new races and such?
Oh interesting, so they can be quite varied in the sky! And quite close at times. Since these are celestial bodies controlled by a goddess, is there anything of note on the moons themselves? And is anyone capable of reaching those moons through means of magic or divine intervention, so to speak?

All of the gods are capable of making monsters and sapient non-humanoids. The only reasons these races are humanoid at all is that they're literally made of the bodies of and thus resemble their gods.
And the Watcher is very finicky about people being on the moons. The Bloodless will drop people on them as jokes but the Watcher is prone to smite unwanted visitors on discovery.

I pulled some inspiration from various space bodies so I'm glad the resemblance was there c: I actually do not have any Canis Corpus mythology up yet, but the creation myth is the one I plan to put up first (in late February is my time goal to start putting stuff up, ahhhHHhhh!) when I start that! c:
